solution: initalise var id - int id = 0;
Haven't yet had time to dig into this but do you think it would be suitable for collecting weather, water and GPS information from several NMEA devices connected via an NMEA multiplexer? This information will then be stored and re-transmitted via TCP/IP, serial and bluetooth for various client devices on my boat to pick up and display on weatherproof monitors. The core of my system will be a gumstix board with USB, bluetooth, wifi and a high capacity microSD card.
